The movie industry is a collaborative environment, relying on many people, with varied skill sets to create a shared vision. This week I have been invited to collaborate as a florist on the movie set.
There is a scene at the little florist shop in Montecompatri, province of Rome, which actually does not exist. We would have to build it up from scratch with the scenography team and I had to prepare a bunch of flowers for the leading actor.
Working together with professional filmmakers for couple of days was really great fun. I did enjoy it a lot and I would be really happy if I could repeat it some time in the future :)
