February Advanced Lesson - Wedding Bouquet in Oasis Bouquet Holder


After Wedding Fair in Casale della Moletta, for which I have prepared red bunch of roses and alstrmerias fixed in oasis microphone-bouquet holder, I have been asked to introduce the microphone technic at the advance course for florists. Photographs rappresents works of four florists who were learing how to devide a very small surface of the floral foam and how to insert flowers properly, to not let the Bride loose them on the way to Church. I have also explained how to cover the microphone handle to make it look like the hand tied bouquet.

February Lesson - Flower Cake


Lesson of February 2011 for florists begeiners and amateurs.


This month we wanted to make requested many times Flower Cake lesson and add some Valentines Day spirit of February, so we came up with that Intensive Red 4 Leyer Flower Cake with Very Red Ribbon. Eight students were learning how to construct the base using floral foam bricks, and how to be patient inserting Santinis one by one, to cover the foam.

October Lesson: "Blooming Pumpkins"

Lesson of October this year for florists begeiners and amateurs was dedicated to The Pumpkin!


This time six new students were learning how to make country style fresh floral arrangement inside the pumkin. Using floral foam, different kind of flowers such as: Chrysantemum, Rose, Anemon, Friesia and Small Decorative Peppers and other decorative materials:

21 Rose Bouquetes for one of the dinners at Open Colonna in Rome

Receptacle: round mirror, glass sphere, floral foam bouquet holders
Flowers: Roses
Greens: Aspidistra, Steel Grass

Ethnic Dry Arrangement:
Receptacle: ceramic cube, 1/4 floral foam
Accessories: rattan bowl, white rattan rope, pines, exotic dry elements

Green Fresh arrangement:
Receptacle: square platic plate, 1 Floral Foam Brick covered with Strelizia Stems, blocked with pearl pins and ribbon
Flowers: Viburnum, Dianthus, Skimmia
Greens: Streliazia Stem, Pittosporum, Steel Grass

This time three students were learning how to make fresh floral arrangement using color floral foam, roses, shells and seastars, branches, thread based candle-holders:

My first lesson 25 May 2010

The florist I am working for is the owner of the Flower School as well. Above proffesional long term courses in all levels, school provides also Monothematic Lessons, dedicated to florists begeiners as well as amateurs. Every month there is another theme, chosen according to the feast, season, etc. In May 2010 I gave the first lesson. May is the month of Peony so the subject was: Nido di Peonie (The Nest of Peony) below you can see arrangements of my firts two enthusiastic students!


Receptacle: rattan basket covered with salim , 1/2 Floral Foam Brick
Flowers: Peony, Hortensia, Rose, Celosia, Cimbidium
Greens: Aralia, Ruscus, Aspidistra, Strelizia Stem, Steel Grass
